How to Photograph a Festival Respectfully
Capture memorable scenes without disrupting performers, vendors or other guests.
Follow posted photography rules and never block a lane, stage view or accessibility route. Ask before taking close portraits, especially of children, artisans at work or people in culturally meaningful clothing. Flash can distract performers and animals. Commercial photography, drones and elaborate equipment may require advance permission. When sharing images, credit artists where practical and honor requests not to post.
