Accessibility begins before ticket purchase. Organizers should publish surface types, slopes, distances, doorway widths, accessible parking, restroom locations, seating, shade and transportation details. Visitors may also need captioning, ASL interpretation, sensory supports or dietary information. Because outdoor conditions change, confirm current routes shortly before arrival. Ask specific questions rather than relying on a general accessible label, and document accommodation requests. Emergency routes must remain usable and should never be blocked by booths or queues.
